I am a wife to a farmer, and mom to two toddler boys and baby girl. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the past four years, and take joy in watching my children grow, while supporting my husband’s efforts to expand his business.
Around the age of three months, we noticed that our youngest son wasn't developing typically. I began searching for help and answers, eventually branching out into alternative methods, when traditional medicine had stalled. I stumbled upon Anat Baniel Method® (ABM) Neuromovement® and was greatly intrigued by the method’s use of the brain’s plasticity. This discovery immediately led us to book an intensive program for our son, after which we saw him start moving and verbalizing in completely new ways. After witnessing these dramatic improvements in such a short span of time, I decided to enrol in the ABM Neuromovement® training, both for my son and to spread access to this transformational work.
Throughout the basic training, I experienced substantial change both from an emotional and physical standpoint. Before I began the training, I had suffered with chronic hip pain for 3 years. Traditional chiropractic and massage could alleviate my discomfort for a day or two, but the pain would resume quickly. The opportunity to experience various Transformational Movement Lessons (TML) and one-on-one Functional Synthesis (FS) lessons allowed me to learn a new way of moving and overcome the intense daily pain.
Continuing onto the Children’s mastery program has greatly opened my eyes to the amazing possibilities this work offers for kids with brain injury, undiagnosed delays, ADD/ADHD, and autism. I am incredibly excited to share this holistic approach that is at the forefront of brain plasticity. I have experienced first hand how this method can return hope, where it otherwise felt lost. Whether you are in chronic pain, or a parent of a child with special needs, or you feel like you’ve lost your vitality - this work is absolutely for you!
What Brooke's Clients are Saying
13-Year-Old Child with ADD
My 13-year-old son has ADD and we have tried countless things to help him. This summer we had numerous lessons with Brooke in the hopes of seeing some improvement. Unlike a physical challenge, the differences were not readily noticeable. However, when he started school again in the fall, I heard comments from 4 key educators indicating they noticed a significant positive change in his maturity level and in handling situations in school and they wondered what we had done. I believe his ABM lessons have made a wonderful impact on him!
Brooke is great to work with, she is professional and truly cares about her clients. I love how more aware I am of how my body moves and that I now recognize when I am wasting energy with unnecessary tension. I have more energy now after only a few treatments!
